HOME TOUR: ARTS AND CRAFTS LONDON GARDEN FLAT

Monday, June 7, 2021

I want to call my city apartment a flat and decorate it like this charming London garden flat with a curated mix of vintage, bespoke, and new decor.

Entrance Hallway

Stepping through the front door gives you a glimpse into the front room and sets the tone for the rest of the flat.

Hanging wall hook racks save space while giving the owners and their guests a place to hang their coats.

A mirror adds dimension reflecting the light from the window and making the space feel larger than it is.

Sitting Room

In the sitting room a comfortable green velvet sofa is perfect for curling up with a cup of tea or visiting with friends.

Above the sofa a gallery wall features an assortment of prints in coordinating black frames.

Bedroom

The bedroom has a mid century feel that combines bright greens and blues.

A side table, green velvet tufted headboard, and blue velvet bench all add to the feel.

Dining Area

The dining area is a bright cozy space that is perfect for a stay at home breakfast with the morning newspaper or an intimate dinner with close friends.

The wicker chandelier and simple style table and chairs keep this space from feeling overcrowded.

All in all this is a bright and lovely flat.
