FRIDAY FAVORITE FINDS WEEK 10: MY PERSONAL REVIEWS

Friday, June 4, 2021

Today I thought I would share some of the online purchases that I have been very happy with. I like seeing what people, who have made a purchase and used the product, think, so I hope you will find this information useful.

Kitchen And Dining

I wrote in a previous post that I had rearranged my kitchen because I ordered a new juicer and microwave.

Now that I have had a chance to use both I thought I would give my review of them.

I love the juicer. Compared to my old worn out juicer it is 3000% better. One of my problems with juicing before was that I got very little juice for the amount of fruit and veggies that I used. That made it very expensive.

This juicer fills up a glass with the same amount of produce, so I feel like I am getting a large amount of nutrients.

Yes, there are several parts to wash and I don't have a dishwasher, but it is a pretty easy cleanup.

You can find the juicer here.

I am also very happy with my new microwave. I think I have used it every day since it arrived, and wonder how I got along for five years without one.

I needed a small size, because of my lack of counter space, and although I have had to adjust microwaving times because it is 700 watts it hasn't been hard to do.

Life in the kitchen is so much easier now. You can find the microwave here.

I reviewed this can opener once before, but it is one of my favorite all time kitchen items, so I thought it was worth another mention.

It is the easiest can opener I have ever had, and it fits in a drawer, which I love.

You can find it here.

I have so many dishes that it would seem that I would never have to buy another one, but somehow my bowls all got broken, which led me to buying some new ones.

I was a little concerned when they arrived, because they seemed like they would break easily, but I have been really pleasantly surprised by the fact that although I have banged them around there is not one chip.

These great bowls can be found here.

Everyone loves a pretty batter bowl. This is a purchase I made a couple of years ago, but it is still as pretty today. I see pancakes and waffles in your future. You can find it here.

Outdoor and Emergency

I bought myself a hat for gardening a couple of weeks ago, but as they are going to be closing our garden spots to resurface the parking lot this summer I decided not to use my space except for zinnias.

When I was visiting my grandchildren I noticed that Sidney had a sunburned head and needed a hat. Fortunately I had tossed my new hat into the front seat of my car and so was able to whip it out and give it to her.

Perfect. Now no more sunburned head this summer. You can find the hat here.

We seem to have several power outages a year and after the three day one last fall I started thinking about having some lanterns on hand.

After another brief outage this spring I decided to purchase these collapsible camping lanterns. They are compact, and yet provide bright light when the lights go out in my apartment.

You can find them here.

Miscellaneous

I seemed to be spending a lot of time squinting at labels and at the markings on antique china, even with my reading glasses on, and decided I needed a magnifying glass. Since I need one for home and one for thrifting I decided to buy this pair.

They are small which allows me to carry one in my crossbody handbag. No more squinting at things I couldn't read no matter how much I squinted.

Pair of magnifying glasses are here.

Speaking of my little crossbody bag, it has definitely become one of my favorite purchases. It is light and hardworking and has become the only bag that I carry.

You will love it here.

You may remember these pots from a previous post, but I love them so much I thought I would share them again.

They are so pretty and are really priced right for a set of four.

Prepare to show off your houseplants here.

It's hard to believe another week has come and gone. I'm keeping pretty busy so it really zooms by.

Hope you are enjoying the start of the summer season.
