Yesterday was a gorgeous day in Atlanta.

Spring has definitely sprung here,

The sun was shining and it was 74 degrees.

It was a great day for a walk outside.

Cottage Kitchens

I have been rearranging and cleaning this past week and wishing I could do something with my little galley kitchen.

This led me to look at cottage kitchens and to have a bit of kitchen envy.

Yvonne is an upcycler and salvage hunter in Dublin Ireland.

You can find her at @sixat21 on Instagram and not only do I love her cottage kitchen, I also adore her whole house and gardens.

Nothing says cottage kitchen more than gingham and florals.

Fiona a twin mum @my_vintage_rose_home has a charming kitchen that reflects her love of vintage, flowers, and gingham.

English cottage kitchen

I recently discovered Jenn and Josh and their Instagram account @downshilohroad (don't you just love that name?)

What a cute couple and what a cozy warm kitchen.

I'm feeling some major envy here.

Alexandra @colorolii shares her lovely home from Warmia Poland.

Warmia forms part of Historical Prussia.

We can see from her photos that there is a wealth of vintage and antique items to be found where she lives.

Don't you just love the old wooden beams, copper pots, and beautiful dishes?

Sometimes the best part of a cottage kitchen is a simple basket of fruit and freshly squeezed juice from @vegetablepatch_cottage who is new to Instagram.

Although all of these cottage kitchens are different and come from different parts of the world, they have one thing in common and that is the coziness factor.

You can just imagine sitting down for a family dinner or sharing a cup of tea with a close friend.

Healthy Lemon Iced Tea

Southerners love their iced tea, but you will find that not all of us can drink sweet tea, which is a staple of warm weather in the south.

I have been looking for a healthy iced tea and came across this recipe.

healthy iced tea

2 organic green tea bags (decaf)
1 thinly sliced lemon
4 cups of hot water
1 tbs organic coconut sugar (if you prefer a sweeter taste)
handful of crushed mint leaves
ice

Put everything in one big jar and wait for a maximum of 5 minutes. If you don’t like the bitter taste you can try to steep it for only 1 minute and go up from there to see which strength you prefer the most.

Check her page for other healthy iced tea recipes.

Here is a countertop brewing system for great iced tea,

Cary, Tessa, and I are planning an outing to the Botanical Gardens on Thursday.

Hopefully, I will have some photos to share with you on Friday. You will not believe how tall 10-year-old Tessa is. She is almost the same height as Cary.

Thanks for visiting today.
