cff FARMHOUSE STYLE FALL DECOR IDEAS | Simple and Serene Living

On Friday I devoted the Simple Pleasures post to the coming of fall.

When I stepped outside on Saturday it really felt like the beginning of fall. It seemed that when the calendar ticked over to September the weather decided to follow suit.

This week is going to finally be full of sunny days in the low eighties with nighttime lows in the sixties, and all of that cooler weather has me looking for fall decor ideas and searching for the perfect pumpkin.

I don't think any decor style lends itself to fall any better than cozy farmhouse decor, so I decided to search the internet and share my finds.

Fall On The Porch

Before you ever step into the house, your fall porch greets your guests.

This is really making me long for a front porch, where I can sit on the swing and gossip talk with the neighbors during the day and light candles in those fabulous lanterns at night.

Cozy Entry Hall

Walking into this entry hall would make me eager to explore the rest of the home.

It is full of wonderful vintage finds and the addition of a selection of green pumpkins adds the perfect fall touch.

With all of the rain we get in Atlanta I could definitely use those cute black rain boots. You're never to old to splash in puddles.

Simple Living Room

Fall decorations don't have to be elaborate, and sometimes simple is best for creating a cozy room.

A natural harvest wreath, a sweet thankful pillow, and ceramic pumpkins are perfect additions to a neutral framhouse decor.

Rustic Farmhouse Dining Room

When I think of fall I think of gathering around a farmhouse table with family and friends. There is something about the tradition of sharing a meal that brings back wonderful memories.

I am loving that sign and although it's just a wee bit too large for my small space I'm thinking that maybe I could find something similar in a smaller size.

Cozy, simple, and comfortable. Fall and Farmhouse style definitely go together.
