WHAT A DAY FOR A DAYDREAM

Oh my, what a day for a daydream.

It was custom made for a daydream.

The sun was shining,

bees were busily buzzing,

the trees were in full blossom,

and I got to spend the afternoon having coffee and chatting with my birthday girl.

Thank you Katy for perpetually looking like a teenager, which allows me to try and convince people that I am actually the one that is 39, not you. No one seems to buy my side of the story. Oh, and thanks for the photo of you that I stole without your permission. Don't forget I'm still your mother.

I baked cupcakes for her birthday and also to take to the grandkids, so after I left Katy I dropped by Cary's house to make a delivery.

When I got there Tessa was luxuriating in the bathtub. Here was the ensuing conversation.

Sidney: Tessa, Nana's here. Dead silence.
Sidney: Tessa, Nana's here. More dead silence
Sidney: Tessa, Nana brought cupcakes.
Tessa: CUPCAKES??? WHERE'S MY TOWEL?

It's good to know where you stand in the pecking order. I'm somewhere below cupcakes.
