SMALL SPACE LIVING: BASKETS FOR STORAGE

Saturday, March 7, 2015

I think it is possible that I may have a major addiction to baskets. In fact, my last thought before I fell asleep last night was that I want to learn how to make rag baskets. (I know, don't be jealous of my exciting life)

Using baskets can be a perfect solution for storage in a small space. They are not only useful, but make perfect accent pieces in your decor.

Baskets are a great idea as you enter your home. You can drop your mail in them or stow away shoes, gloves, and scarves.

I have to admit that I never thought about using baskets in the refrigerator, but I wish someone would organize and stock mine like this.

In the kitchen, baskets can be great space savers for organizing condiments and utensils,

or holding produce.

Baskets can be tucked into so many places in a small space decor.

  1. Love baskets, but not much space I want to give to them. The ones you featured are exactly my favorite type of heavy dark cord. :)

Good luck on the url transfer! :)

    1. I've had to sell some of my vintage baskets to make room for more. I am always sad to see them go.

  8. I love all of those great ideas using baskets. I am a basket lover too. I have a lot in my house and probably even more in my basement because I just can't part with them. I've never seen baskets used inside a refrigerator before! That's a first!

    1. I think I might be afraid that I would spill ketchup and mustard on them if they were in the refrigerator. :)

  9. Happy blog name move! Remember when in the seventies we all had baskets and had so many of them on the wall? Of course now that is popular again, and is called Boho. Boy, that refrigerator sure is organized!
