really? now?

Sunday, March 3, 2013

Oh boy, it's March. Time for daffodils to be poking out from the new warm soil. Time for kids to be flying kites. Time for...........

WHAT??????

This can't be right. I looked left, I looked right.

I must be having a nightmare.

I'll check out the back........

SIGH!!!!!

Well, next Sunday is forecast to be in the sixties. I'll just close my curtains and pretend it's next Sunday.

  1. Today there is sunshine finally after I think 4-5 days of light snow and flurries!

  2. Our snow is melting off today and the sun is out, they are predicting 50's for next week. Sounds like better weather to me, but it also means mud in my neck of the woods. Hang on Spring will eventually be here.

I think I'll close my curtains and have a cup of tea ;-)

  10. Well if it is any consolation, it is only 50 degrees in central Florida right now. Just had a man from New York tell me it looks like its going to snow. Not good.

  11. I think closing the drapes is a wonderful idea-we are all pretty sick and tired of this snow, despite that awful white stuff have a good week.

  14. So sorry, my friend. Makes me feel a little guilty for this sunny 70° we have here in my neck of the woods. Take heart ... you'll be all warm soon. (I hope.)

  15. Hate to brag sweet Laura, but tomorrow is going to be in the 80's. How about you move to Dallas and we could have a great time.

  16. We have the same white stuff covering our landscape, too. Spring seems a long way off when I look out my window. I know it will get here eventually and I'm more than ready for it. I can't wait to be able to open the windows and let some fresh air in.
    Have a nice Monday!

  20. I just can't take the winter anymore this year. In NJ it goes from warmish, to cold with unbelievable windy to snow and now they are talking maybe a Noreaster Wednesday depending on the wind. I was so excited I was just starting to see my bulbs popping up too. UGH!
