CATCHING UP

Sunday, January 4, 2015

It is a catching up kind of day. It's amazing how far behind you get when you go away on vacation. Everything has been neglected. My Etsy shop. My antique both. My home. It all needs some tender loving care.

So I am going to get started this afternoon. First stop will be my booth. I can only imagine what kind of a mess it is in after the holidays. After that I think I will pop into an auction to see if I can pick up some new finds for both the booth and my shop. By then I will probably be ready to come back home for my afternoon cup of tea and prepare to watch the Season 5 premiere of Downton Abbey.

I am so excited. It is one of my favorite shows. Do any of you watch it? Can't wait to see what they are up to both upstairs and downstairs. I think there is going to be a lot of shenanigans this season.

Hope everyone has a serene Sunday.

  7. I'm over the moon that there is finally a new season of DA!!! It seems to have taken so long to come back. And of course, being Canadian, it takes even longer, LOL. But I"m taping it tonight.

    1. It was so good. Last year I watched it on the internet in the fall, but then when January rolled around I was unhappy that I had already seen it. So I made myself wait this year :)

  8. I know what you mean by having to play catch up after being gone. That can be a chore. I have not really gotten into Downton Abbey the way everyone else has. I've watched it a few times but that's it.

  9. Laura, Glad you can get out and check your booth. Should be fun to re-do a few things. I went out to town for a wee bit...not near long enough for me...but got home before it started to do snow pellets. Stay safe. Bless you, xoxo,Susie

  11. I can totally relate. I FINALLY got all the decorations down, but I still feel like there's a lot to do. I am trying to remind myself it doesn't all have to get done today. Take care!
