I can remember the love I had for winter as a child, but as I have grown older, that love has waned. Gone are the days of sliding on the ice on the way to school, of tobogganing down the hills, and of creating snowmen. Now, the cold wind seems to seep into my bones and the gray of the skies affects my moods.
So as I stood on that cold snowy porch I began to dream of porches that reflect warm welcomes.

and I felt my mood lift as I closed the door against the cold, because I know that those days are not far off.
I would love to have you join me for more Warm Welcomes on Pinterest

ReplyDeleteIt's coming! Yesterday was spring like, and today's 3-6 inches of snow turned out to be nothing. Spring is so coming. Your images are wonderful. I could surely spend some time on any one of those porches.
