I know that January and February will be hard for me, but I have light to hopefully get me through those winter months. I too cherish September and October.. my favorite months I think..... and the little signs are already starting. I was telling hubby how my marigolds, though they've all summer in this horrible heat.. are starting to look dry and wilting.. I think they know it's time to slowly roll up the rugs and dig in for the winter! Amazing how plants know better than we do when the time is right to be done with their summer show! I still water faithfully every day, but I'm tiring of it and ready to be done with gardening... except I used to love to bring in fall leaves from the trees on our property, to decorate with...love all the colors.. but here in town, we have no trees with fall color.. and none really around our town. It's summer.. and then all of a sudden, everything drops off the trees and it's winter. No inbetween here, unless I go up into the mountains to the west of us.. which I will definitely do come October! Have a nice weekend. The evenings are a little bit cooler and some leaves are starting to turn on a few trees. The berries are heavy bunches of fullness bending tree boughs to the ground. I like when it shifts slowly, it lets us wrap our minds around days growing shorter and nights getting longer.

Here's wishing you a pleasant weekend and a lovely month ahead...
Brenda Brenda @ Its A Beautiful Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02955486477303938670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1791860108829806850.post-74283131382177103442017-09-01T14:19:54.137-04:002017-09-01T14:19:54.137-04:00Beautiful post!
