IT'S FINALLY FALL AND A NEW BOOK

I think fall may have finally arrived here in Georgia. I haven't seen a lot in the way of color on the trees, but when I went out yesterday morning it was 64 degrees. It felt perfect. I think the high was in the upper seventies.

I hate to see summer go, but I can definitely live with these kind of temperatures.

I like that fall is slowly sneaking in, that the temperatures haven't dropped dramatically, that there is no frost on the pumpkins yet here in Atlanta.

I am really looking forward to getting out and exploring some of the parks in my area.

I have had my eye on Morningside Nature Preserve all summer. I think it may be the first place I explore.

It has water and rustic bridges. Looks like my kind of place.

My name finally came up for a book I have been waiting patiently for at the library. I picked it up yesterday morning and dug into it last night.

Definitely one of my all time favorite authors. It's hard for me to wait from year to year for a new book in the series.

If you have never read her books I highly recommend them, but you need to start from the beginning of the series.

Happy reading.

  3. I've never read her books or heard of her. Guess I'd better check this author out. It's been cool here the last couple of nights, but then gets hot during the day. Yea! Your first fall in Atlanta.
