YES OFFICER I WAS PLAYING HOOKY

All day yesterday I kept looking over my shoulder for the truant officer. I was prepared to tell him that yes, I was playing hooky from my blog, but really I had a perfectly good excuse. Give me a minute and I'll think one up. 

 Well Officer, you see, it's like this. The Christmas bug has taken hold and I just needed to get out and see how to cure myself.

 Look, I've been helping Santa fill his sleigh.

You know how important of a job that is. I'm sure he will vouch for me.

 Santa? Santa? Hmmmm, he seems to be mute at the moment, but I'm sure it is just because he is extra busy this close to Christmas.

Do you realize how hard it was for me to climb to the top of that tree and put that star on top,

and how about all of the presents I wrapped.

Quick officer, look!! I think Frosty is shop lifting.


 Okay maybe that was a wee lie. That really wasn't Frosty and he wasn't shop lifting, but who knew I could run so fast.
