THEY SAY IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY....
It seems that today is my birthday. Not quite sure how I got this old, but as my mom likes to say it is better than the alternative. When I reminded my granddaughter that today was my birthday she was worried that she had forgotten to get me anything. I told her I already had the best present ever. I get to spend it with her. She looked at me and said, "hmmm, you're probably right".
It's good to know just what is important at an early age.
Haha. What a cute response. :-) Have a happy birthday, Laura! xoxo

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Laura. I wish you many more. I remember a young man of 40 saying , If I had known I would lived to be this age , I would have taken better care of myself. " I just had to laugh. Good old hind sight. Blessings for a great day. xoxo,Susie

ReplyDeleteHi Laura! I wish you a very happy and blest Birthday! I cannot at all take credit for this, but I have a little sign that reads: GRANDMA'S ARE JUST ANTIQUE LITTLE GIRLS and that is just what we are!
ReplyDeleteLove that :)
DeleteGetting gifts means nothing to me now. The important stuff like seeing my children happy and healthy are what makes me happy. I'm glad that in getting older I have learned contentment.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Laura. And what a sweet picture of your granddaughter. Children are special ones, aren't they? I wish you peace and love in the new year.
