Although we found out her Emory specialist is on medical leave, my daughters have been able to contact her specialist in New York, who is the top physician in the world in treating CVID. She is going to consult with the doctors in Atlanta.
I of course have
I do appreciate all of your prayers. I am forcing myself to stay in and rest today. I actually did not make up my bed (see yesterday's post) so that I can just lie in it, drink tea, and watch Christmas movies. What a luxury.
I hope that you all have a wonderful day. Stay warm and dry.
hugs and prayers(())!
ReplyDeletePrayers for healing for all :-)

ReplyDeleteI guess I've been lazy in keeping up with things and you are always so thoughtful. So sorry that you are all going through this. Prayers for your sweet family. I kmow how hard it is to be away when they are sick.
ReplyDeleteOh Laura, I am so sorry that your Katy is having to go through this and that you, as a mom, have a heart that is aching. I will be praying for Katy, for the doctors, and for you. Take it easy, enjoy a movie, and know that your blogging friends are supporting you and your daughter in prayer.
ReplyDeleteHugs and prayers for you and daughter. I stayed in bed Monday and Tuesday, except for doctors visit, watching Christmas movies and drinking mostly water. All those Hallmark Christmas movies are predictable but I still love watching them. I do not know what CVID is, I' look it up later, but I hope they can help your daughter get better. Debbie
ReplyDeleteOh no Laura. Prayer and hugs being sent. Hope your daughter is doing better. Take care of yourself.

We always worry about our kids.... no matter how old they are! I'm glad to know you are taking care of yourself today. Those Hallmark (and Lifetime) Christmas movies are fun. I have seen some of them many times, but they are like comfort food... only less calories. Remember what they say on the airplane. Take oxygen for yourself BEFORE you try to help others. It is something we have a hard time doing. So your staying in bed today is a very good thing, indeed, for both you and your daughter!
ReplyDeleteLaura,
ReplyDeleteI hope doctors can soon find something to help your daughter.
