What is a perfect day to you?
Is it a day where you have a special activity planned or is it a day where you can stay at home and spend time alone?
For me, today will be a perfect day. I do not have to go anywhere. I can stay at home and start off with a long walk in the the cool morning air, work on my business, write my blog, sit out on my patio, read a book, watch the world go by.
My week has been busy, but I have been to enough auctions, browsed through enough thrift stores, fluffed my booth, stocked up on groceries, and filled my book bag at the library.
Today is a perfect day for me. It is a day to stop and smell the roses. It is a day to enjoy the moment. It is a day to just stay home.
A day for simple and serene living.
We are so busy that a day to stay home is always the best.
ReplyDeleteIt really is, Michelle :)
Deletewonderful.
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
DeleteMy perfect day is at the beach. Walking along the beach all day long looking for shells and then out into the ocean and marveling at the beauty. We always take chairs....but never sit in them! Enjoy your relaxing day. I'm staying home today and that's nice, too! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteWish I could spend a day at the beach with you, my friend. Sounds wonderful. xo
DeleteOhhhh shooot!
ReplyDeleteI don't know where my first "perfect day" comment went!
LOL
It vanished!
It's loss is not going to put a blemish on the perfection around here!
My "reflection comment " has now turned to laughter as my computer is 'misbehavin' once more!
Earlier... with just one touch...it left a comment times three at another girlfriend's place!
Gotta smile!
Sharing laughter and love...Life is grand today my friend!
Enjoy your perfect day!
I am so glad that you are taking some moments to play!

withLove!
I'm laughing because my laptop is acting just as bad as yours is, Lynne. I even turned it upside down and shook it to see if I could clear out the cobwebs. Have a wonderful day. :)
DeleteBack to check if it worked on the second try!
ReplyDeleteIndeed it did!
Hoooray!

ReplyDeleteIt is and I woke up this morning to the sound of thunder. Another excuse to stay in and be cozy. :)
DeleteThat sounds like a perfect day to me too!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely perfection, Kim. Hope you have a perfect day, too.
DeleteBeautiful flowers. I also prefer quiet to hustle and bustle. The quiet days are a rare gift.
ReplyDeleteThey are a rare gift :)
DeleteI like perfect days! Yesterday, I was planting salads in the garden at 9pm and I thought it was a perfect ending of the day: it was warm, quiet and sill sunny, very simple things.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds perfectly wonderful. Magali. :)
DeleteSounds wonderful! My perfect day is spent with my family - it may be a little hectic or loud or even quiet. But I know that it involves all of them!
