Do you make plans? I do. I make lots of plans and set lots of goals. I know what I want, and though I don't always know how to get it, I keep on trucking. I keep working towards it. I've talked about wanting to move to Atlanta so that I can be close to my daughters and my three grandchildren. They are what is most important in my life.
Let's face it, I have a lot of hurdles standing in my way. I make lists and set my goals and try to figure out how to jump over those hurdles. I am 63 years old and have a very low income. That is hurdle number one. Between my little bit of social security, my Etsy shop, my small amount of ad money from my blog, and my antique booth I still don't make enough to survive on my own. So I am looking for a small retirement apartment in the Atlanta area.
I dream of a small apartment, a place I can call my own, and how I will decorate it. How I will utilize that small space when I get it. What I will keep and what I will give away and sell.
Oh Laura home is truly where your heart is and I think you can do anything you put your mind and heart into. You are strong and if I had three grandchildren I would be thinking of that too. Take care. HUG B
you'll do fine, we are in a small apartment, well its bigger than our first apartment we moved to when Garry became ill, and took early retirement, you adjust, it takes time to see what works in a small place but you have the most important things already, vision and optimism, two very important things to have for sure,
I think it's a great idea to plan and dream of moving to be close to you family in Atlanta. I hope your dream comes true. (I've never lived on my own...sounds incredible but true) You have such beautiful style my friend! Sweet hugs, Diane
Keep planning and dreaming, it's how to make those things really happen one day. I hope things work out for you very soon. Thank you for visiting me, it is great to find your lovely blog. Helen xox
