Are you a dreamer?
Has anyone ever said to you, "you are such a dreamer"?
Was it said in such a way to make you think that dreaming is a bad thing?
Have you felt that you should give up on your dreams and live a more "realistic" life?
Everything that is now, was once imagined. Your imagination and your ability to dream are your greatest gifts. They are what make you uniquely you, and no one can take that away from you unless you allow them to.
It doesn't matter what stage of life you are in. It is never to late to follow your dreams. So don't give up on your dreams, because what you want must first be imagined.
i dream a lot. i think i need to believe. :)
ReplyDeleteTrue. I don't dream much anymore. Guess I've just let life beat me down.

I AM a dreamer! I even have a dream board up in our office. If we never dream we never achieve anything beyond who we are right now. I think dreaming makes a person stretch and grow. Great post- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteAmen! Yes, I am a dreamer! Over the years, my dreams have become more focused and realistic, though. But I know how important dreams are and I have tried to instill this in my daughter & granddaughter.
ReplyDeleteLovely post. You have such a way with words. :o)
I am an actionble person so I pursue some of the things I dream about. Since becoming a mom my dreams for my children seem far more important then anything I could want for myself.
ReplyDeleteI AM a dreamer! I think of things that might be possibilities all the time...no matter how crazy! My life doesn't resemble what it was a few years ago....it's better than ever! So I keep dreaming! Sweet hugs!
ReplyDeleteI definitely am a dreamer!
ReplyDeleteGuilty as charged, Laura. One day at a time but never loose sight of the dream of a happy ending.
ReplyDeleteI am a dreamer, both day and nighttime but I do let the dreams go to often.. Good post Laura!
ReplyDeleteEvery dream starts with a thought. Thanks for the reminder that you're never too old to dream.

ReplyDeleteI had a HUGE dream for many years! And I believe in the power of a dream.I like this quote by Walt Disney: "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." That is so true. I finally completed and published my memoir, which took YEARS, but I never gave up. I had/have confidence in myself! And, as Dayle (above) said, "you're never too old to dream." I can attest to that!! Thanks for an inspiring post!
ReplyDeleteI do a lot of dreaming - now if only some of it would come true.

I dream a lot too, and the photo in your post is one place I'd love to return to. I don't know where it is but it looks like Myrtle Beach to me. We never vacation down south but did spend a week there 3 years ago. I hope we can go back for another visit some day. Dreaming…..
ReplyDeleteI dreamed, we dreamed...and we found out that dreams don't always turn out like you think they might...but that can be a good thing too. Dreaming is important, it's how things are created.
ReplyDeleteDream on.
Jen
