too gullible

too sweet

too kind

too accommodating

too DUMB

because if it is, then I am definitely all of those things.

For those of you have been reading my blog for awhile, you followed the saga of my personal property. The last time I posted about it here I was very excited, because I was told the woman who had my property had agreed to give it back to me in early September. I agreed to give her until then, because she said she would be out of the state for most of the summer on business.

I was making my plans to drive to the beach and pick it up in two weeks.

my family antiques

my children's baby photos

my life

Then yesterday, my own personal deputy at the Sheriff's office called and told me the woman's phone was disconnected and so was her daughter's who was living with her.

Seriously?

Has she really stolen my property after all?

Had she already sold it when she agreed to give it back?

SIGH!!!

All I have to say is

Laura, I'm sorry you are having so much trouble getting your possessions back. I'm hoping and praying she hasn't sold it all and that you will be able to get it back.

Oh no! You are probably all those things you listed, but I count them as good qualities. Your friend, on the other hand, is despicable. I'm so sorry, Laura. Fingers crossed that you can still retrieve your things.

Oh my Laura, I am so very sorry. I was remember when I first discussed this with you I said, she is out of her mind!!! What would she have to gain for being down right cruel?? Some people have no integrity and can't be a good person. What goes around comes around. God forgive me, I hope she gets hers in the end.

This is despicable--how people decide to do such things is beyond me. I'm right there with you on being too trusting. Hopefully you can retrieve your treasures.

I am so sorry to hear that this situation is not getting better for you! Just keep in mind that what goes around comes around. That person will get what she deserves eventually.

I was waiting to see what would happen after a good night’s sleep . . . your special deputy may have just been doing her job, but just doing her job is what makes her one of the special people.
