Too much snow. Too little snow. Too cold. Too rainy. Too gloomy.
Well you get the gist.
A few friends and I have decided enough already. No more winter whining.
So we have decided to band together and start a linkup on Sunday mornings called no winter whining. There is Heather at Life Is Like a Garden , Jen at Muddy Boot Dreams, Lynn, who is not blogging yet, but can be found on Pinterest here, and of course me at ImSoVintage,
Each Sunday morning we will take turns hosting the link up.
Our first topic is going to be Finding Color in Winter. I know you all have lots of color to brighten up winter.
We have a Face Book page, where we would love to have you post your thoughts, and photos of winter, and “like us.”
And we have a No Winter Whining board on Pinterest if you would like to be added to that board just drop
us an email at nowinterwhining@gmail.com.
We will be letting you know more details as they are sorted out before Sunday. Please check with one of the other bloggers, as I will be away from my blog Thursday through Saturday. (They better let me out of the hospital Saturday so I can join in on Sunday morning)
This is so exciting. Can't wait to see you there.
What a fun idea! Although with temps expected to drop into the sub zeros here in a few days, I might whine a little bit!
ReplyDeleteI am so looking forward to this link up...maybe we should all be taking a pledge not to winter whine...lol.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what everyone comes up with.
Jen
Great idea. We haven't had much to whin about here have we? Maybe it coming!! Good luck. :D
ReplyDeleteLaura sounds like a fun party! Good luck with the surgery!
ReplyDeletehugs, Linda
What a really lovely idea! I have been feeling the same, people are never satisfied with the weather nomatter what. I started this summer, we stopped grumbling and went swimming on the beach in pouring rain. We all laughed so much and had a great day. Look forward to see the posts and perhaps l will link up to :-) Pam xx
ReplyDeleteAnd good luck with your surgery! Sorry, should have said that first! Blessings from Pam
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I'll probably continue to whine because this is not my season :-)I look forward to what you all will be posting. Have a great day. Blessings...Mary
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more. Some folks will never be happy with the weather and it irks me to no end when they get on Facebook and whine whine, whine. It's either too hot or too cold or too wet or too dry or too windy or too humid. Seriously. It gets on my nerves.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. Lots of winter whining here in NE, too.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea. Winter doesn't get me down. I have the chance of a snow day tomorrow. Too much fun :)
ReplyDeleteI'll probably be whining because it's supposed to get down to -0 by the weekend. That's just a little too cold for me.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your surgery. I hope you will be up and walking around without pain soon!
What a great idea. :-) Actually, it's been a better January than most in NW Wisconsin, so I've not been whining this year, probably a first. And in February we'll go visit our daughter and SIL in TX, so no whining in February. That takes me to March, so we're doing pretty well. :-)
ReplyDeleteAND, wanted to let you know that I'm having a 4 HomemadeSoapnSuch Valentine Soap Sachet Giveaway - on now through Friday. Hope you'll stop in at Cranberry Morning and enter. :-)
Sounds like fun Laura, following on FB and on Pinterest. Hope all goes well at the hospital and that you are home soon.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea . . . let me be one of the firsts to stop my no snow whine! DONE . . .
