Yesterday was a bit of a stressful day. Mom was having some pains in her chest and after a visit to Urgent Treatment we spent the afternoon getting her admitted to the hospital for observation. They didn't think it was her heart, but after arriving at the hospital, her blood pressure was really high and it is normally very low. Also they couldn't get an IV in her normally very easy veins. Of course, she was very scared and I was trying to keep her calm while feeling very worried myself. I am up early so I can get back to the hospital this morning. The photo above is of the banner of my newest Etsy shop. I will be writing more about that later this week, when I have had a chance to get more listings posted.
So sorry to hear about your Mom. The most difficult part is not knowing what it is!! Prayers and thoughts for a speedy recovery!! YOU take it easy and take each hour as it comes. God Bless!

Oh, Laura. I hope that your Mother is better today. It sounds like she may have been a bit dehydrated as you speak of the difficulty of starting her IV. (I am hoping and praying that it is only dehydration.)
Your new shop banner is pretty! May today bring good news and stress relief. ~Lynne w/L.
