You might not have your knee propped up on a pillow, but I bet you could use some kitchen inspiration too, and if you want to prop your knee up on a pillow, who am I to stop you. It gets you out of doing a lot of things.
I am loving this painted white farm table and why didn't I think of using an old gate as a pot holder.

I absolutely love that old farmhouse look. I have a towel from an old feed sack that was my grandmothers. I always use it to cover sugar cookies in my frig.
ReplyDeleteHow is your knee coming along? Has it been giving you some grief lately?
ReplyDeleteLove the farmhouse kitchens...we are planning on making our own kitchen table to look like one some day soon.

All of these kitchens are inspirational!!
ReplyDeleteI especially love the gate pot rack.
I sure hope you feel better soon. It's hard to take is easy when you start to mend. I love the big old farm sink in the photo. Hope you enjoy your movie. We've been watching Downton Abbey and just finished the last DVD last night. I'll be glad when the new season starts!
ReplyDeleteWonderful. I would love to have a big kitchen with room for a center work table. Maybe someday . . .
ReplyDeleteGosh I hate that you are hurt again! You must take it easy! Love these kitchens, what a dream they are. Enjoy your old movie!! hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you're hurting now. But, I'm glad you felt up to sharing these wonderful photos! I've gotten a couple of ideas. I love the gate in the first photo. The narrow table looks like a great idea as I have limited space in this house. And I really love the shelf! Now to just find some wall space to put it! Hope your movie is good and that you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteEverything is so lovely, I really enjoy all farm house style.
ReplyDeletehere is hoping that your rest will make for a speedy recovery! thanks for these images, the last one is now my desktop background- i love it!
ReplyDeleteOur tastes are very similar in kitchens, Laura. Love them all. I am taking a couple of pain killers myself and watching a movie tonight, too. I have the house to myself for the first time in............hmmmmm...can't remember how long! Whooooo Hooooooo....

ReplyDeleteLaura - loving these pics. Thanks for sharing. Take care of yourself, girlfriend. Please, k?
ReplyDeleteI totally love that white and antique look! The last table is a bit rough for me, but all the others are gorgeous, and make it so tempting to redo my kitchen!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed the movie. May I recommend a Doc Martin from Netflix? He would cheer me any time. So nasty that you're laid up. :-((
I really like the gate idea! Hope your knee starts feeling. Have you been over doing it?
ReplyDeleteOh, I can picture myself in the herb garden kitchen!
