Oh to dream.... I love that porch! I can't wait to get mine back in order and sit out there and enjoy my morning coffee. Soon!
ReplyDeleteI am with you! Any day I can open the windows I'm happy. This has been a great year for it here in FL. I'm hoping to get at least a couple more months but even now in March it is getting quite warm. Love all of your beautiful pictures. And I have the same porch memories from my childhood. Thanks for the reminder!

Lovely images! I can't wait until we are able to enjoy the outdoors again.
ReplyDeleteHi Laura, Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and following. I'm following your lovely blog now. I just love the front porch and dining photo. I'll be sure to visit your etsy shops. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Such great images. Your words bring back so many memories for me. We didn't have AC where I grew up, and we were outside a lot in the summer. nothing like fresh food prepared by hands that loved us. thanks so much for linking up to VIF!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted a porch! Lovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteWe had a porch growing up and I used to sleep out there. I don't have a porch now, but sure wish I did. But I enjoy sitting out in my back yard. I can't wait for that.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures of porches.
Have a wonderful day and weekend.
I have no porch but that is beautiful I always wanted one and so has my husband. I am your latest follower.
ReplyDeleteI had a whole comment and blogger ATE it- I hate when that happens! Anyway, I love that first porch...just LOVE it. Wonderful images here and I remember doing the snap beans on the porch with my gramma. She always had those little round pink wintergreens in her apron pocket that she would smile and dole out to me. xo Diana

Those are some great images of the wonderful weather that is heading our way! Yesterday we had the prettiest weather, but today is very different. Looking forward to smelling that fresh cut grass though!
ReplyDeleteHi, Laura!!!
ReplyDeleteLOVED IT!!! I have a "sun room" beside my bedroom, don't know what to do with it!!!!
Your images gave me inspiration... I am torn... should it be a "porch" or "a place to sleep"?? On a hot summer night maybe we just leave the screens on? Hopefully there are not that many holes and we don't get eaten by the mosquitoes, LOL!!! Have a great weekend!
What a lovely nostalgic post.I enjoyed every word of it and loved the pictures you used to accompany them. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary
ReplyDeleteExcited for spring! And the last foto... how cute!

ReplyDeleteI love sitting on our porch also. Have a great weekend!
If I could have any addition to my home, it would be an "outdoor" room just like the porches you showed. To be able to sit outdoors but under some type of pergola and be in fresh air all day and evening. What a dream that would be!
ReplyDeleteLove your photos! I would LOVE to have a porch.
ReplyDeleteI am so with you! I am ready to get my side porch ready for spring! Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
