RAINY DAYS AND NAPS

WOW!! what a hectic and tiring week last week was.

The movers were right on time Monday morning and made that part of the move seem very easy. Since then I have been unpacking and starting to think about my decor.

I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am to be in my own cozy space.

The last seven years waiting to get into a place of my own seemed to go on forever, but I think the universe was waiting for the perfect time and apartment for me.

Now that I am here, my body and spirit seem to finally be relaxing.

It seems enough to just sit here enjoying rainy days when they happen and napping when I feel tired.

That's what I will be doing for the next couple of weeks and then I will head down to Georgia and North Carolina to sort through the rest of my things.

Can't wait for that part of my life to be over.

A new life has begun.

  4. something very happy-making about being inside watching the rain come down, comfortable and warm, with tea and a good book (or pleasant chat).

    1. Thanks, Judy. I am trying to get as much put away as I can so that I will have room for the rest of my furniture in a few weeks.
