oh you beautiful doll,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

you great big beautiful doll. Let me put my arms about you I could never live without you..............

I am singing this to myself this morning as I gaze into the bathroom mirror while brushing my teeth.

Yes I know my singing leaves something to be desired and my curly hair is sticking out strangely in all directions, but hey you gotta love yourself, and no I will not show you a photo of it.

Speaking of leaves. We were speaking of leaves weren't we???  I love crunching through the fallen leaves as I take my morning walk. It reminds me of being a kid and walking to school. I did a lot of dragging of my feet in those days.

Some of the leaves are just starting to get dressed for the party.

While others have shown up for the dance in full formal attire. Showing off the beautiful orange of their gowns against the clear blue fall sky.

This beauty has arrived, but her shyness is causing her to hover on the sidelines waiting to be asked to dance. I don't think it will be long before someone notices her beauty against the background of the old stone wall.

Yes, the autumn dance is on. I am feeling inspired to sing Oh you beautiful day you great big beautiful day.................

P.S. Count your blessings that I don't have sound on today's blog.

  4. Our leaves are starting to change color every so slightly. It seems like one day they are green and then bam, they are changed. I used to love walking through the leaves when I was a kid, heck, I would do it now. I remember when my dad would rake a pile for us and let us jump in, so much fun!!!
