Today I am on my way to North Carolina. Tomorrow is the day I am to meet the deputies and retrieve my property. I have tried not to talk about it for the last few weeks because it has been too stressful. The woman who has my property has been needless to say less than cooperative and has even been nasty to "my personal" deputy. The deputy has advised me strongly not to get out of my car until they are there. Believe me I won't. This has been a long and painful road to get back what is mine, but I am praying that tomorrow will be the end of it. My plan is to move my things into a storage unit in North Carolina and then move it again in a few months when I know where I will land.
So tomorrow, no matter what is said to me I plan to keep smiling and walk away.
Here's the best part. After I get it all (and hopefully it is all still there) moved my sister and I will be spending a few days at a friends house on the ocean in Nags Head, North Carolina. So excited about that. First vacation in quite some time.
I'll let you know what happens and I plan to take lots of pictures. In the meantime I hope you will keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I need them.
Laura, You know you are okay...so just remain calm. I'll be thinking of you. Enjoy your stay at the beach.xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteI don't know the background of this story - but do not get out of that car!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy your problems are coming to an end - and that you get to celebrate at the ocean - where peace and serenity reign supreme :)

ReplyDeleteWe will all be with you, Laura! I pray that everything is still intact. The ocean is perfect place to release any remaining stress and renew your spirit! Your vacation is so well deserved!

I'll whisper a pray that all goes smoothly for you, Laura. Have a safe trip!
ReplyDeletePrayers for you.
ReplyDeleteCan you wait til the deputy is actually there before you pull up. I would stay out of her view if you can. I don't trust this person. Just can't figure out why she has done this. Good luck. Please let us know that you are okay and that you have your possessions. Then, rest, and have a good time. It shouldn't be crowded since the kiddos are back in school. (((((HUGS))))
I am praying for peace and serenity for you! You can do this, Laura. You just have to get through one more day of the stress and you will be free of the wicked witch of the warehouse! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteWithout a doubt Laura, DON'T get out of the car. This person scares me. They have to be a bit kooky. Hope all ends well.
