Morning has Broken

"Morning has broken like the first morning."

As a new day begins I open the windows wide to breathe in the scents of the early morning.

An overnight rainfall has scrubbed the surfaces clean and left a feeling of newness in the air.

The heat wave has broken and the temperatures feel almost fall like.

I have been feeling a burden the last few days of so many things to do and of some new changes.

These changes prompted my post yesterday. Because life is about dancing in the rain and also relishing the sunshine.

"Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden..."

For each fresh morning brings us a new chance at life.

Thanks to Ramble Ann for reminding me of one of my favorite songs. I hope you will visit her sweet new blog.

  2. Enjoyed this post, Laura. That's just how I feel about the new, fresh rain we had last night. It cleans everything and brings lower temps. Everything looks beautiful and fresh. And it means I don't have to water the garden this morning. lol

Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

  9. Hi Laura,

Rain for rejuvenation, for polishing petals and sending out scents!
