best laid plans

I want to thank each of you for your Happy Easter wishes this weekend. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

My weekend wasn't quite how I had planned it. My sister and her daughter were supposed to come on Friday, but my niece who is doing an internship in veterinarian medicine had a patient. So their arrival was postponed until Saturday afternoon.

That was probably a good thing, as I ended up in the ER Friday night with a high fever from a sinus infection. Ugh!!!

We did have a great, but short visit though and went out to brunch on Sunday.

older sister, mom, me (dragged from sick bed), niece, younger sister

I sure missed spending the day with these sweeties, but I got to hear what the Easter Bunny brought them, and I think there was a chocolate high going on in their house.

I have a feeling there was not one piece of chocolate saved for their Nana. That's okay though because I found Mom's secret chocolate bunny stash. :)

  3. Ack the bad Easter bunny was giving out pain, instead of chocolates at your house.

Hope that you are feeling much better now...and great to hear that you got to spend some time with family.
