happiness is.............

being 5 weeks old and having your tickle spot found for the first time

as we get older, we really begin to realize that it is the simple things in life that make us the happiest

the smile of a child

seeing your grandchildren accomplish new things (hey, I think Sid has my Olympic gold medal)

learning to live in the here and now. by putting past mistakes behind us we allow ourselves to be filled with the joy, love, peace, healing, and freedom of the present moment.

it's a wonderful lesson to all of us as we traverse the stressful world we live in.

  9. Kids have the real meaning of life built into them, it's a shame we lose that as we age.

  12. So well said, Laura. Your grandchildren are beautiful. I have only been a grandmother for a little over a year. It's so wonderful when life hands you a new kind of love. (I hope that you and your knee are well!)

  13. Laura, love looking at the photos of your grandchildren. I don't have any yet, but I cannot wait for the day! I have 3 daughters-- My youngest is a senior in High School, so the empty nest is coming....
