Monday shopping on Etsy

Before I head out for another wonderful session of Chinese torture at the physical therapist this afternoon (I am bound and determined she will not make me cry today) I thought I would sit down and write a new post.

I have decided that as this is day 18 after the big surgery, I am going to try and get back into a more normal routine, as much as possible. Yes, I am still using a walker, but I am hoping that I will graduate to a cane soon. That will make it easier to get around. In the meantime, I have a few new goodies that I thrifted and photographed, for the shop, before I went into surgery, and I plan to start listing those this week. (hmmm, now just what did I do with that camera?)

Since today is Monday, I thought I would kick off the week with my usual Shopping on Etsy post. Hope you enjoy my finds. Please click on the price below the item to see the listing on Etsy.

Set of three reclaimed cedar planters.

$45

Hand carved duck decoy

$129

Lavender sachets

$27

Vintage fishing pole tackle box

$98

Coconut wood Heishi stacking bead bracelet

$32

Blue and yellow vintage farmhouse table

$200

I'm sure you noticed that I added in some things for Dad this week. Don't forget Father's Day is coming up.

Thanks again to everyone for hanging in there with me while I am going through my recovery. I keep reading that short term recovery for a knee replacement is 1-3 months. I hope my patience holds out, because I am not used to all of this inactivity. In the meantime, I will be trying to catch up on some blog reading this week. Maybe it will make the time go bay faster, when I am reading all of your wonderful posts.

  1. I've been keeping my fingers crossed that your new knee works out for you (only because I've heard horror stories)!

  3. Great finds ... thanks for sharing. Inactivity is hard but you know that recovery is a process and the better you are as a patient, the quicker you will be back on your feet, doing the tango!

Thank you so much for featuring my bracelet here. Your finds are outstanding and you even showed some of my all time favorites.

Knee surgery is brutal and it is awesome that you are finding these distractions to keep your sanity :D. I pray that your recovery is on the 1 month side of things.

    Blessings!! Jodi
