four season porch

As I sit here on this cloudy, rainy October day, I am reminded of the things I miss most during the cold weather months. Primarily, those would be light and the feel of being outdoors. I don't mind the snow so much, if I have a light filled, warm, toasty place to sit and look out.

So, if you, like me, covet just such a space, put on your warm bunny slippers, grab that second cup of coffee, and enjoy these lovely four season porches.

How nice to have so much greenery all year long. I would love a really sunny spot to keep my herbs going.

What would your four season porch look like? I would have to say the cozy porch with the willow furniture is my favorite. Add a fireplace and some potted plants and I'm good to go.

  1. My porch would have a fireplace and a sectional with faded denim slipcovers I could wash. I would have a baker's rack full of orchids, and a coffee table full of magazines. :D

  2. I love the look of the many-paned windows! I would want comfortable cushions on wood or wicker furniture, and lots of plants!

  3. Oh, yes, I want one--it wouldn't even have to be a very big space; just cozy with some big windows and a couple of those willow chairs! Love your photos.

  4. It is a toss up between the willow chair porch and the last photo with the cozy chairs.

  6. I do love the willow furniture and the white walls. I also like the great open look in the first picture. It would be wonderful for me to have a room like those.
